PEOPLE, PLACES & PROCESS

WHAT WE’RE DOING TO MAKE SURE YOUR WORKPLACE IS SAFE

 As we see more and more businesses reopening, we are getting excited about inviting the KOI community to come back to our facilities. With this being said, we must collectively acknowledge that this return to working outside of our homes is going to feel a bit different - precautions will be taken, protocols will be followed, and above all certain social behaviors will be altered. With this in mind, the KOI team has been hard at work finding ways to help you feel at ease when you do choose to ‘get back out there’ and join us. Below you will find our detailed approach broken down into sections - if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to us at team@koicreativespace.com.

Looking forward to seeing you soon,

Jon, Rick & Ryan

// SOCIAL DISTANCING

The Golden rule

All KOI facilities will enforce CDC recommended social distancing requirements, including ensuring 6ft distance between individuals. This distance is a suggested minimum; at any opportunity a larger distance is strongly recommended.

WE MISS YOUR SMILE, BUT…

Any time individuals may be less than 6 ft apart from one another (such as in common areas & kitchenettes), acceptable face mask coverings are required. In addition, wearing masks is strongly recommended in all areas of all facilities.

// SHARED SPACES

COFFEE IS STILL IMPORTANT

All kitchenettes will offer single-use hot/cold beverage cups, as well as gloves, wipes and/or hand sanitizer for use of single-touch automatic coffee/espresso machines.

FOOD IS TOO, BUT…

Considering the difficulty in ensuring cleanliness when it comes to food, KOI will not be providing any snacks or sweets , whether individually wrapped or otherwise.

COMMON AREA SIGNAGE

Signage will be posted throughout all facilities reminding members (and guests of members when applicable) to adhere to proper hygiene, social distancing rules, appropriate use of PPE, and cleaning and disinfecting protocols.

KEEPING OUR NUMBERS DOWN

In correspondence with NYS guidelines, all shared spaces (including kitchenettes, common areas, conference rooms, etc.) will have occupancy below 50% of maximum capacity at all times.

// CONFERENCE ROOMS

THINK OF IT AS VIP TREATMENT

If in-person meetings are necessary (tele- or video- conferencing is encouraged whenever possible) and cannot be conducted in member(s)’ dedicated offices, conference room usage will be limited to members and their guests only.

YOUR Plus Ones

Guests will be required to complete health check forms online when accessing facilities. Members bringing guests will be required to provide their guests with these forms.

// SUPPLIES

WE’VE STOCKED UP

Hand sanitizer will be provided for all offices, as well as for each workspace across all facilities, both in bottles and in contactless dispensers. Other supplies such as facial tissues, hand soap and paper towels will be provided throughout all facilities.

BYOM recommended

While we do encourage using your own cloth face mask coverings, single-use masks will be provided if needed. Face coverings must be cleaned or replaced after use or when damaged or soiled, may not be shared, and should be properly stored or discarded.

INCREASED EFFORTS

All facilities have employed an increased professional cleaning schedule provided by a Westchester-based company with over 25 years of commercial deep cleaning experience.

BY THE BOOK

Our professional cleaning service adheres to hygiene and sanitation requirements from the CDC and DOH and maintains cleaning logs that document date, time, and scope of cleaning.
